Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.

I think we all know how in love I am with my bookbinding class. It is, hands down, the best class I have ever taken. I just can’t get enough. I love my books. Here are the ones I have made so far, starting with my least favorite:

[Coptic binding; I think this one is just kind of boring. It’s not bad; just boring.]

[Also Coptic; this one is fun. I like it.]

[Flatback; map of Virginia as the cover. I kind of made up the binding, which I am proud of. A good, righteous pride.]

[Flatback; cloth cover. My favorite book. I can’t stop looking at the pages. I just love them so much. I’m like a person that just can’t stop looking at his reflection in the mirror.]

Thanks, dear friends, for letting me be a bit of a narcissist.
